The Circular Economy Show Podcast

Economic recovery: building a resilient circular economy after Covid-19

Episode Summary

In this weekly show episode, our hosts, Seb Egerton-Read and Tansy Fall discuss how the Covid-19 pandemic has exposed vulnerabilities in our current economic system, and is challenging us to rethink the systems that underpin it with Jocelyn Blériot, Executive Lead Institutions, Governments & Cities at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.

Episode Notes

While the Covid-19 pandemic has forced us to adapt our daily lives in ways we could not have imagined and has, of course, had huge global health implications, it has also exposed vulnerabilities in our current economic system, and is challenging us to rethink the systems that underpin it. In this episode, we will be talking about the opportunity circular economy offers to create more robust, shock-resistant systems and highlighting some of the positive actions that are already being taken by governments and businesses around the world.
